History

During the seven years of her activity in the Artistic Administration of the Zurich Opera House, Rita Schütz worked under three different Managements: Dr. Herbert Graf, the "Direktorium" Jucker/Vöchting/Zimmermann/Meyer and at last Prof. Hermann Juch. Real Highlights of this aera were that she succeeded to invite Luciano Pavarotti ( Rigoletto) and Rudolf Nurejew (Swan Lake) for their Zurich debuts.

After leaving Zurich, Emil Jucker continued the collaboration with Rita Schütz on free lance basis for the Geneva Opera, Cosmotel and later Music and Arts.

Marriage and children interrupted the professional activities for a couple of years, but she was seriously infected by the "virus opera", and on July 1, 1981 she founded the Künstlersekretariat Rita Schütz with three artists: Agnes Baltsa, Francisco Araiza and Jose van Dam.

At the time, the mighty Columbia Artists Management New York was searching for a European basis, and Ronald Wilford founded together with Rita Schütz the Columbia Artists Management Zurich. The collaboration lasted more than seven years and was terminated by mutual agreement at the end of 1988.

Since then Artists Management Zurich is managing its exclusive artists world wide.
